Receptionist/Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a reliable, high-energy receptionist and administrator to join our team. As the welcoming first point of contact, you will manage the reception desk, handle incoming calls professionally, support our operations with general administrative tasks, assist on ad-hoc projects, and perform basic basic bookkeeping — all while contributing to a collaborative, growing environment. 

This position is ideal for someone dependable, organised, and enthusiastic about supporting a forward-thinking team and growing alongside a young and growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while liaising professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Perform basic bookkeeping duties by recording and tracking payments and expenses
  • Manage reception duties and maintain a professional first point of contact
  • Organize, store, print, and maintain both digital and physical company filing systems
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, email management, and coordination with colleagues
  • Assist with project-related tasks such as sourcing services/materials/contractors, obtaining and comparing quotes, and liaising with providers

Must Have

  • 3 years proven experience in an administrative support role & bookkeeping
  • Fluent communication in English and Afrikaans
  • Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and professional appearance
  • High level of discretion and trustworthiness
  • Driver's license

Extra Info

  • Position on offer is permanent subject to successful probation period.
